Who We Are
The fireplace is a program running out of Bethel Chapel. We are affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. The program is designed for young people in grades 7-12 and is open to whoever wants to come...Church attendance is not required (however, you are absolutely welcome at any time!). Our desire is to see young people introduced to Jesus Christ Our Savior, and to begin + grow a relationship with him. In our sesions we explore the freedom our faith offers us, learn to live lives of integrity + service to God + others, and bask in the presence of an all-mighty God who created Comets + Grass + Oceans + Eyelids + desires most to spend time with us.We meet every Friday during the school year for youth-geared church services called Extreme Chase Sessions, Rallies, Outings + Events. Meeting times differ from week to week, so check the "Coming Up" schedule ragularly. Many young people have not even heard the whole story of who God is and what he wants from them, and even more have been turned off by super-spiritual religiosity and still more are just bored when it comes to God. We desire to present the good news of Jesus in an attractive way that grabs and keeps thier attention, an involves them in a personal relationship with him. We offer opportunities to become involved in Drama, Worship, Leadership, & Bible studies. You'll never be bored again! |
